LOVE FOOD HATE WASTE ONLINE FORUM - Now Open

In order to continue all the great enthusiasm and ideas from the Love Food Hate Waste workshop series, Midwaste has developed an online forum for participants and any other interested foodies. Click on the link on the left side bar. You will need to sign up to view the forum, which will contain recipes, handy hints for wasting less and saving money and links to other great resources.  One of the best of these links is www.lovefoodhatewaste.nsw.gov.au, so check it out.

BUSINESS WASTE REDUCTION PROJECT - Greater Taree and Great Lakes Councils

Midwaste has engaged 360Green to work with businesses in the Great Lakes and Greater Taree Council areas. The work ahs been with the hospitality, retail and industrial sectors and businesses were given the opportunity to have  the consultant work with them in some depth to develop and implement a waste plan. Workshops will be held in February 2012 to showcase the work that has been done. Any small business will be welcome at the workshops.
